The
University for Sustainable Development, located in Eberswalde, is popular for
its long tradition of forestry and wood science research. The origin of the HNE
goes back to 1830. All the study programs of the four faculties include issues
of economic actions. The mixture of these grants the HNE certain uniqueness.
The
graduated Regional Manager is engaged in running the business and organization
of a region and building up networks. To achieve the practical relevance for
the study program, there is a close cooperation with several partners of
business and public administration.
The region
Oder-Spree lies to the southeast of Berlin and the district is named after the
two major rivers in it. Moreover the area is rich in various natural aspects
and so it offers space and capability for tourism.
